I discovered a great site today.

This site has alot of pdf files that you can use for all sorts of things from lapbook to pages for your portfolio at the end of the year.  Great Site.

Check out my friend Becky's Candle site.  She found the cutest mugs for her Christmas candles.

The Cupcake Lady at Hoosier Homemade has a post about some cute loking cupcakes for halloween.

Since I didn't find to many posts this week I am going to post the recipe for the dish that was a hit at my Kraft Mac and Cheese Party.  (See Pics from the Party here and read about the party here)

Kraft Homestyle BBQ Chicken Mac

1 pkg Kraft homestyle mac and cheese dinner Four Cheese
1 pkg deli oven roasted chicken breast cuts (oscar Meyer)  I used what ever my grocery store had.
2 Tbsp bbq sauce
1 Tbsp cilantro ( I left this out)

Prepare: Dinner in large Saucepan as directed on package except do not top with bread crumb topping.
Add chicken and bbq sauce: cook and stir 1 min. or until heated through.
Top with  sprinkle with cilantro and crumb topping

I went ahead and baked in the oven as per instructions on mac and cheese pkg.  Everyone loved it.

Homeschool Thursday

These Sites came through my email this week and I thought I would share them.  I have not check them out thoroughly so like with everything parents should use with discretion.

History of America  looks like an interesting site that would give you some media to add to your lessons.

TVSchoolHouse  gives you access to old school educational films (I use to love it when we would get see films in class.)

Looking for a Science Fair Project or Idea?  Then head over to Science Buddies.  There you will find all kinds of ideas and guides.

Need to take a trip but don't want to stop schooling.  Families on the Road  may have what you need.  You may even be interested in taking your whole family on the road for an extended period of time.

And Just a cute skit down by a homeschool group.  We did this every year in our old homeschool group during our Christmas Program.

Happy Schooling!!
