Merry Christmas Everyone!!

I had all kinds of plans for the blog this year (and for school and our family)  but it all got sidetracked because of this sinus infection (which is still hanging on).

So I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and I will just leave you with some of my favorite videos for this season.

What a time to get Sick

I had a touch of the flu over the weekend and now I have a bad cold and of course I am now officially on vaction till the 20th.  Oh well I guess it is my bodies way of slowing me down.  My daughter is also sick so both of us are probably just going to snuggle in today and rest and take it easy.

My Mother In Law is coming next weekend so next week will be spent decorating and cleaning and cooking.

At Least I have my early Christmas Present

It is an Lg Optimus S.  We were able to get it free because we ordered it online before December 5.  (I had a credit and of course we had to do another 2 year contract) I really like it.

Where's the Line to See Jesus?

Someone shared this video and I really liked it so i thought I would share.

ABC Families 25 Days of Christmas today is Pixars Short films (oops, I was looking at a website that had last years progrmas on it.  I am going to leave this up though as I think it's a great short)
Here is one of them

The Pixar short films are always cute and thought provoking.

The real program for tonight is:

A Flintstone Christmas from 6-7

The Santa Clause 7-9 with an encore at 9-11

Amazon.com is offering a free mp3 download every day for 25 days.  I have gotten some great songs in the past years from their offerings.  I haven't liked the past two days but maybe you will.  The direct link is here.

Hearitfirst.com  is also having a 25 days of Christmas countdown.  They have something new everyday.  Yesterday was a video by the Newsboys.  The direct link is here.

We had an electrician to the house yesterday and boy was it good we did.  We had a short in a switch and it could have caused a fire in the walls.  While he was here I had him a check some things that we weren't sure about (it was all included in the diagnostic).  When it was all said and done it cost us almost $300 dollars but it was worth it to not have our house burn down.

It's About the Cross

First of All here is a song about the real reason for Christmas

Today Starts the ABC Family 25 days of Christmas

First is The Year without a Santa Clause from 7-8

Then it sThe Santa Clause 3 from 8-10 with and Encore presentation from 10-12

Hannah and I plan on starting Operation Chrismas today.  Planning what cookies, crafts Etc.  Aso She picked Unit Study about the symbols of Christmas so we will be starting that today  along with a bunch of other things.

Some of our plans may be put on hold as all our ceiling lights on one side of the house went out last night.  The outlets on that side still work so we may be using lamps.  Hubby is calling an electrician but we really can't afford a huge bill right now even if it wasn't for Christmas.  Praying that it won't be too much or if it is we can arrange some type of payment plan.  Sigh.
